CORINNEa”On December 26, 2013, heaven gained another cowboy. Dawn Mathias Reeder passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Dawn loved family history, especially our Pioneer heritage. He knew our ancestors by name and their individual stories and sacrifices. He would retell their stories with great reverence and humility.
He was friendly and kind to everyone, and had a special compassion for those in need. People who knew him loved and respected him. Dawn was a gentle giant of a man.
