David was born on February 14, 1943 in York, NE to Arlin and Roberta (Fischer) Naber. He graduated from Utica High School in 1960. He then attended and graduated from Grand Island School of Business with an Associates Degree in accounting. On August 20, 1966, David was united in marriage to Lorraine Eicher at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, NE. David worked as a bookkeeper for Midwest Insulation. He was a member of the Ralston American Legion Post #373 and Millard V.F.W. Post #8334. David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. In his free time he enjoyed reading and watching sports. David passed away on March 25, 2013 in Omaha, NE at the age of 70 years, 1 month and 11 days. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Naber, Omaha, NE; son, Michael (Jennifer) Naber, Erie, PA; daughter, Michelle (Mark) Naber-Smedley, Singapore; grandchildren, Norah Naber, Vincent Naber, Greta Naber, Joshua Smedley, and Lauren Smedley; stepmother, Arlene Naber, Lincoln, NE; brother, Brian (Sharon) Naber, Allen, TX; sister, Gale Dennison, Mason, OH. David was preceded in death by his parents, Arlin and Roberta (Fischer) Naber.
