With all of the adversities David confronted in life, he always overcame them with dignity and pride. When faced wth obstacles in life, he faced them with honesty and courage. He put family and friends first. If he saw someone in need of something that he had, he would go as far as to take his shoes off of his feet or his coat off of his back to give it to them.
