David Wayne Darrah passed away peacefully at home with his family on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. David was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 16, 1927 as the youngest child of Anna and Dayton Darrah. David served in the Army, 503rd Military Police Battalion, during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1947. After earning a Bachelor of Theology in 1950 he felt called to Ministry. He met and married his wife, Veldonna, in 1953 and together they worked tirelessly in Pastoral Ministry in both California and New Mexico. David is preceded in death by his wife, Veldonna. He is survived by his daughter, Deanna; and son-in-law, Scott; son, David and daughter-in-law, Gloria; and three grandsons, Kevin, Travis, and Dillen; along with a large extended family and a multitude of friends. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but we are comforted knowing that he is now with Jesus.
