David W. DeBolt, age 50, of Steger, IL, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. Beloved son of Frank Walton “Walt” and Sharon (Anton) DeBolt. Loving brother of Tom (Liza) DeBolt and Jennifer (Jeff) Pennington. Cherished uncle of Kristin, Zachary and Katherine DeBolt. From a young age, David took pride in working in the family trade as a machinist, owning his own business and then later working with local manufacturing firms. Most recently he was working with F.H. Ayer Manufacturing, a company that has had DeBolt family members involved for over 100 years. David loved history, music, and open wheel automobile racing; he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
