David Scott Faircloth, Jr., age 76, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at his home in Fayetteville, GA surrounded by family. He was born in Lyons, Toombs County, GA on January 24, 1944 to the late David Scott Faircloth and Liza Dixon Faircloth. David was a long-time member of East Newnan Baptist Church. In 2017 he was inducted into the hall of fame at his high school Toombs Central in Lyons, GA and then in 2019 he was inducted to the hall of fame at West Georgia where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Joy Fuller Faircloth; children, James Ashley Hildreth, Atlanta, GA, Scott Morgan, Brandon, MS, Conya Beckham, Williamson, GA, Scott Faircloth, Monticello, GA, John Faircloth, Lula, GA. and Sonja Dowd, Lyons, GA.
