David S. Wing, 55 of Freeport died Thursday October 30, 2008 at his home. Born January 13, 1953 he was the son Samuel and Kathryn (Staas) Wing.
He married Barbara Schilling on July 31, 1976. David retired from Honeywell February 29, 2008 after 35 ½ yrs. He was a member of the Ham Radio club. He enjoyed Ham radios, computers, motorcycle riding and the Green Bay Packers.
Surviving are his wife of Freeport, brother Brian (Sherry) Wing of Freeport; two sisters Charyl (Jim) Wagenknecht of Freeport, Sue (Chris) Colvin of Galesburg; four nephews Timothy (Stacey) Wagenknecht, Gregory Wagenknecht, Christopher Wing, Richard Wing all of Freeport; one great nephew Kyle Wing and great niece Chrisonna Wing both of Freeport.
