David R. Davis, 69, of Bridgeport, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was a retired glass worker with Fourco Glass Company. He was born in Clarksburg on May 19, 1941, a son of the late Ray Franklin and Lillian Paugh Davis. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Cunningham Davis, whom he married on May 19, 1979. Also surviving are three children, David Keith Davis and his wife Ellen, Tennessee, Tammy Rae Matthews, Stonewood, and David Ray Davis, II, Bridgeport; four grandchildren; and four brothers and sisters, Gary “Sonny” Davis and his wife Cora Clarksburg, John W. Davis and his wife Judy, Clarksburg, Bob Davis and his wife Sharon, Clarksburg, and Joyce “Billie” Rinehart and her husband Ronnie, Parkersburg. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Donna Jean Jones.
