David Richard Power Jr. was born June 14, 1964 in Newton, NJ to David Power Sr. and mother, Sherry Power. He grew up in E. Hartford, CT, and received a GED from St. Mary’s College.
He joined the military in April of 1984 and completed OSUT at Ft. Benning GA.
He married Michelle Power August 8, 1989 in Ft. Riley KS.
The military took him to Germany, FT. Carson, CO; FT. Wainwright, AK; then to Boise, ID. He was stationed in Germany and Panama, and deployed to Iraq for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He enjoyed football and was a huge BSU fan. His hobbies included mechanics and talk radio shows. He had a strong political point view. He worked for Motive Power for 26 years in many different capacities, and was the owner of Powerlift Material Handling, where he worked with sons Joshua and Conner.
He is proceeded in death by his mother and father; two sisters, Stephanie and Laurie; one brother, Scott.
He is survived by wife, Michelle Power: sons, Joshua, Nicholas, Riley, Conner; a sister, Paula Power; and uncles, Pat Power and Butch Power.
He is a friend and loved by all who gave fully of himself in everything he and everybody he touched.
