David Paul Schultz, 66, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday , August 29, 2015 in his residence surrounded by his family. David was born April 30, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to George Schultz and Nadine Arnold Schultz. David attended Wiley High School and was a veteran in the United States Marines. David was a Graphic Artist for Data Label, he was a member of American Legion Post #104 and Veterans of Foreign War post #972. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, playing pool, camping and is remembered by his family as a prankster. David is survived by his lifetime partner, Patty Bell Schultz, one daughter, Rachel Gibbons and her husband Mike of Terre Haute, a step daughter, Jessica Rohrkaste of Terre Haute, one son, Joseph Edward Schultz of Terre Haute and a step son, Sean Rohrkaste also of Terre Haute. Three sisters survive; Judith Reynolds of Texas, Frances Mier and her husband Gary of Indianapolis and Kathleen Allison and her husband Charlie of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Tamra Gibbons, Ciara Gibbons, Fay Schultz, Vash Rohrkaste, Tanner Kuykendall, Daisy Layman and Kyle Layman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special niece and caregivers, Christina Prout and Doug McIntosh.
