David Mason White, age 86, entered into eternal rest Friday November 16, 2018 at Freddy Gonzales Veterans House, McAllen. Mr. White was born on September 10, 1932 in Primera, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Homer & Atha Young White. David proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and he was honorarbly discharged. Mr. White was a reader and member of First United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa. He was a a lifetime resident of Primera and longtime educator for Harlingen CISD where he taught many children over the years at Dishman and Wilson Elementaries. He retired from HCISD after 35 years.He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory his sons, David Cordero (Jacquelyn), and Armando Cordero, his grandchildren, Loren Cordero, Charlotte Cordero and Marley Cordero, siblings, Robert White (Ida) and Doris Mains, nephews and nieces, Jennifer Mathes (Tracy), David White (Vera), Robert White (Velma) and Pamela Metzger.He is perceded in death by his parents, Homer and Atha Y. White, brother, Ralph White, brother-in-law, Roger Mains and a niece, Linda White.
