David Leon Cottrill, 49, of Lumberport passed away on Saturday August 16, 2008. He was born December 31, 1958 in Lumberport, WV a son of Martin Lee Cottrill and Alta Cottrill. He is also survived by his wife of 31 years, Delores “Dee” Cottrill. He is also survived by three sons; David Lee Cottrill, John Ray Greathouse and Paul Robert Frederick; one daughter, Brandy Cottrill; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Cottrill and Bobby Cottrill; three sisters, Tempess Kerns, Katherine Nicholson and Karen Cottrill. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marty Cottrill and James Cottrill. Mr. Cottrill worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
