David Lee Freeman, age 65, of Hogansville passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his home. David was born in Newnan on March 6, 1955 to the late James Autry Freeman and the late Doris Callahan Freeman. He was an insurance salesman for over 20 years and enjoyed rides on his motorcycles. He was a member of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club who lovingly referred to him as “Scalded Dog”, enjoyed watching the Falcons play, and owned and operated the Franklin Road Flea Market. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Daffey Freeman; children, Lindsay (Terry) Wehrle, Daniel (Chelsea) Freeman, Joseph Freeman, and Jeremy (Jessica) Freeman; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Connie Staley, Autry Freeman, Kenny (Lourdes) Freeman, Cheryl (Dave) Mann, and Gary (Kim) Freeman; and sister in laws, Debra Ragsdale and Diane Hughie. Many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends also survive.
