David Lee Deal, 77, formerly of Miami, Florida and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Viera Hospital, Melbourne, Florida. David was born in Canton, Ohio and was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Evelyn Deal.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Thelma Driskell Deal and his children David P. Deal (Nancy) of Melbourne, Leanne Mason of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Richard D. Greene, Jr. (Shelley) of Monroe, Louisiana.
Grandchildren are Terra and Dawson Deal of Carlsbad, California; Renee, Justus and Elisa Mason of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Manning, Driskell and Kate Douglas Greene of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Maggie Greene of Monroe, Louisiana. He is also survived by his brother Donald Deal (Mary) of Dover, Ohio, as well as 5 nieces and nephews, Donald Deal (Brenda) of Lake Norman, NC; Cathy Deal, Denise Cuddy, and Dennis Deal (Stacey), all of Columbus, Ohio; and Susie Gray (Justin) of Medina, Ohio.
David was retired from AT&T and enjoyed all things computer-related, traveling, Motor Trend TV, reading spy and mystery novels, and raising orchids.
