David Daniel Lardo, aged 67, of Niceville, Florida, passed away on February 2, 2014 at his home.
David was born on December 4, 1946, in Brant, New York, in his maternal grandmother’s home, to Dominica Renaldo Lardo and Louis Lardo. David was a Vietnam War veteran in the United States Air Force, and a former member of The Order of the Sons of Italy.
David worked at the Eglin A.F.
David was born and raised on a farm in Western New York, where he learned the value of hard work and simple living. David was a generous friend to many and always extended a helping hand when ever needed.
David is survived by his wife, Martha Turner Lardo; daughter Holly Strickland and husband Chris; brothers Ronald Illardo and Dennis Lardo; brother-in-law Jimmie R. Turner and wife Judy; sister Kathleen Gates and husband Terrance; grandson Nicolas Gabriel Strickland; nephews Eric Gates, Brian Gates, Curtis Ford, Travis Turner, Cameron Turner; niece Tania Taylor; and Larry and Charlotte Sterling.
