David L. Schwenk, 73, of Coopersburg, passed away at his home in the presence of his family Tues., Dec. 5, 2017. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann E. (DeMichael) Schwenk for 48 years. Born in East Greenville, he was a son of the late Frederick and Irene (Gehris) Schwenk. David had a Bachelor of Science degree, and specialized in Engineering. For 15 years he was a software tester for Ascensus in Drescher, working until July of this year. Previously he was employed with AT&T Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ for many years. He attended Calvary Bible Fellowship in Coopersburg. David’s family was the center of his life, and more than anything he loved time spent with his grandchildren. His faith was the strength of his personhood.
