David D. Kness, age 58, of Spirit Lake, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. He was born on May 9, 1953, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, to Dale and LaVonne (Selberg) Kness.Dave graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1971. He worked for Bob Cornell Construction for over twenty years. Dave enjoyed spending his spare time fishing, golfing, taking photos and watching motocross. He truly loved his family, friends and especially his niece and nephew, Jill and Darrin.Dave is survived by his mother, LaVonne Kness of Spirit Lake.
