David “Junior” Nocera, 17, of Bristol, died unexpectedly on July 31, 2007 in Bristol. David was born October 26, 1989, in Bristol, a son of David and Sharon (Lee) Nocera.

Junior was going to begin his senior year at Bristol Eastern High School. He was working part time at Marinelli’s in Burlington.

Junior brought nothing but joy and laughter to all that were fortunate enough to meet him.  There was nothing ordinary about Junior, nothing standard or conventional.  He was exciting, unusual, controversial, amusing, and completely special in a way that is instilled in our hearts and minds forever.  He is part of a special team of three, each different and unique, but together forming the perfect chemistry that helped make our world refreshing and delightful. There is nothing superficial about this team of Tony, AJ, or Junior.  Their intentions are real and their actions speak volumes.  They became better men than most, and their thoughtfulness and selflessness is truly inspirational to all who know and love them.

Even from the beginning, Junior’s entrance in this world was not ordinary.  He overcame great odds to begin his life, and lived it his way creating art and entertaining all those around him.  We all wanted to be with him whenever we could.  His time with us was too short, as is the case often with innovative thinkers that defy conventional wisdom and try to make the world a better place.  As with all of special people, their effect on us will extend well beyond their last breath on earth

Besides his parents of Bristol, he is survived by a brother Anthony Nocera of Bristol, his paternal grandparents, Patsy and Dolores Nocera of Bristol, his paternal great grandfather, Joseph Nocera of Bristol, his maternal grandparents, Stan and Janet Craig of Meriden, his uncles and aunts, Joseph and Kelli Nocera of Bristol, Vincent and Denise Nocera of Bristol, Glenn and Victoria Triplett of Burlington, and Don and Debbie Repella of Pasadena, CA; his cousins, Miranda, Vinnie, Joseph, and Briana Nocera, Matthew and Michael Triplett, and Kai and Quinn Repella. He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew “AJ” Nocera, fraternal great grandmother, Margaret Nocera, maternal great grandparents, Rose and David Nocera.
