David J. Lynch, 85, of West Point Island, Lavallette, NJ passed away on Friday April 17, 2015 at home. He was born and raised in Carteret, NJ he had summered in Lavallette moving there permanently in 1982. Mr. Lynch proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University receiving his Bachelor Degree in Education. He was a Teacher with the Carteret School System for over 25 years.
He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Woodbridge, NJ He was a Real Family Man. He will be missed by all who knew him. Predeceased by his daughters Linda and Janet “Klyde”. Surviving is his loving wife Arlene (Uhouse), two daughters Diane Kepich of Millstone, NJ and Patricia Hardy of Warren Township, NJ, six grandchildren Jonathan, Victoria, Kimberly, Jillian, Taylor, and Ryan, and two great grandchildren Marley Linda, Preslie Ella.
