David “Dave” Hunt Nicholson, 76, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home.
Dave was born May 14, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana to Hubert and Martha (Hunt) Nicholson. On August 15, 1970 he married Debra “Debbie” Janeanne Nicholson in Albuquerque.
Dave was employed as an awning salesman/installer/designer and soon after opened his own business, “Daveco Awning Co.” with Debbie which they operated for 18 years. He was a cantankerous cowboy with a huge heart and a gallant work ethic, only retiring a few years prior to his passing.
