Age 66, died suddenly on July 22
Best friend and beloved husband of Maureen (nee Flood). Preceded in death by parents Glenn & Joan; brother Paul; sister Lizzie. Survived by his Bodacious Babe of 45 years, Mo; Children Rochelle & Joe Kubista, Amy & Bob Tibesar, Sarah & Karl Murray, Mary & Brian Volp, Joan & Tim Morrow, Anna, Joe & Teresa, and Dave; and his Grandchildren Maria, Stephen, Mikey, Matt, Grace, Kiana, Sammy, Conrad, Tim, Aidan, Chance, Dominic, Ray, Henry, Vinnie, John Paul, Stella, Evie, Izzy, Millie, Joey, David, Finn, Mo, Gavin, Della, Liam, and Lucy. Whether he was sitting in the garage talking cars, history, medicine, or painting Lucy’s nails…he always had time for his kids and grandkids to seek out an answer or a cigarette or a treat. His vast knowledge and varied interests were reflected in his broad set of career choices -teacher, coach, truck driver, mechanic, nurse and was Mo’s A#1 main rehab carpenter and electrician. Dad knew a lot about a lot of things, he was Google before Google became a thing. Loved cars, boats, airplanes, motorcycles…. anything with a combustion engine…. but mostly he loved his family. DG, Dad, Papa, Grandpa, Opa, we love you more than words can ever express and we will see you again someday.
