DAVID G. TORRES, Born November 13, 1936, departed this life on Jan 5, 2013. He grew up in Little Mexico and was a longtime member of the Pan American Golf Association, Dallas Chapter, with whom he became an avid golfer.
He is preceded in death by wife Librada Salinas; Granddaughter Elizabeth Callender; Sisters Nora Castro, Josephine Medina, Beatrice Lopez, and Margaret Cuellar, and Brother Johnny Torres. He is survived by children: Davida Callender of Duncanville; David Torres, Jr. of Plano; and Yolanda Garcia of Oak Cliff, Granddaughter Librada Callender Cyrek of Dallas, great grandchildren Robert Ramirez and Liliana Cyrek; Sisters Evelyn Martinez and Irene Carranza of Irving; brother Henry Torres, of Dallas and frmr spouse Dolores Lara of Oak Cliff.
