David Gale Wright
David Gale Wright was born on December 14, 1950, and passed away October 21, 2016 at his home in Ogden. He was preceded in death by his father, Welbourne Arza Wright; mother, Lillian Ferro Wright and brother, Joseph Wright. David is survived by his family which includes brothers, William, Stephen, and John Wright; sisters, Mary Chavez, Annette Walcher, Teresa Dellamore and Kathy Hyden.
He attended Lorin Farr Elementary, Central Junior High and Ogden High School graduating in 1970. He loved playing baseball and pitched for the Blue Streaks for several years under coach Bulloch. It was his happiest time I feel and as his younger brother, I always looked up to Dave and loved him.
He was known to be ornery, but deep down he had a big heart. When he was younger he was always available to help his brothers and sisters. He had his shortcomings, but down deep he had nothing bad to say about anyone in his family. I know he loved all of his brothers, sisters and friends, but had a hard time showing it. Dave Wright was truly an individual.
