Mr. May was a 1962 graduate of Muncie Central High School. David married the love of his life LaDeanna (Secuskie) May on January 22, 1963 in Muncie and she preceded him in death earlier in December. He had worked as an automobile mechanic for the Bradburn Olds and Cadillac Dealership for many years prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army where he eventually retired from due to health issues.
Surviving are four sons, Darrin May, David May II both of Muncie, Dewayne May (wife Kimberly), Spring Hill, Florida and Darrell May (companion-Ashley Buck), Parker City; one daughter, LoRinda Hamilton (husband-Keith), Muncie; 19 grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin, Bobbi, Olivia, and David May III, Darrin and Ashly May, Derrick(wife- Jennie) and Daniel May, Keirstien Smith(husband-Ryan), Ellehonna, Donavon, Arikka and Darrell May II, Richard(fiancé’-Stephanie Gregory) and Jason Dunn (fiancé’-Ashley Toomey), Andrea, Kevin and Keith Hamilton II; three great grandchildren, Kaden Dunn, Ranelyn May, and baby boy May; one sister, Joyce Clark, Muncie.
Besides his wife of 47 years LaDeanna, he is preceded in death by his parents.
