David “Dave” Lee Frampton, 69
David “Dave” Lee Frampton, 69, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away November 10, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society-Spokane Valley of Spokane Valley, Washington. He was born March 10, 1950 in Garibaldi, Oregon; Dave was the son of Marion and Leta Frampton.
Dave served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam war.
Dave attended the North Idaho College studying law enforcement. He married Ruth McCauley on August 19, 1983 at the St.
Dave moved to the Silver Valley in 1984 from Coeur d’ Alene.
In 1984 – 1999, Dave served as a police officer for the City of Kellogg; he had also worked for the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office. After retiring from law enforcement, Dave worked for Dave Smith Motors for four plus years delivering cars.
Dave was a member and past exalted ruler of the Kellogg Elks B.P.O.E. #1841 and a member of the V.F.W.
Dave loved trains and collected model trains; he also enjoyed watching T.V. and his cats.
Dave is survived by his wife Ruth “Ruthie” Frampton of the family home of Kellogg; three brothers Kenneth Frampton of Rockaway Beach, Oregon, Roger Frampton of Ilwaco, Washington and Bruce Frampton of Puyallup, Washington; three sisters Janice Baumgartner of Dallas, Oregon, Lois Schultz also of Dallas and Carol Hinds of Forks, Washington; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, and nine brothers.
