SIMSBURY –David Conrad, passed away on August 30, 2016. Born on December 17, 1949 in Syracuse, NY; the son of the late Crayton and Edna (Wright) Conrad. Dave owned and operated Hawk’s Nest Pub in Norfolk for many years. For the past 20 years, he has worked within the IT department at NWCCC in Winsted. Dave loved the outdoors, was an avid fly fisherman and a notable canoeist. Dave made a point to share the beauty of nature with those around him. He also found comfort in the lyric of music and frequently shared in discussions about their meaning. He also loved spending time at Prudence Island in RI. He had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
