Mr. David Clifton, age 76, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. He was born on February 16th, 1944 in West Point, Georgia to the late Sam and Mary Clifton.
Mr. Clifton is survived by his wife, Shelia Clifton; his son, Wayne Clifton of Lanett, Alabama; his daughter, Linda (Robert) Fawley of Lanett, Alabama; his grandchildren, Matthew (Kimberly Coggins) Fawley, Meagan (Emily) Fawley; his great grandchildren, Morgan Fawley and Gracen Fawley; his sister, Louise Bowman; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Donald Clifton, Calvin Clifton, and Bobby Clifton; his sister, Trudy Hannah.
Mr. Clifton was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He graduated from Lanett High School in 1962 and then went on to be a truck driver for thirty-seven years until his retirement. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
