David “Tire Man” Carr, Sr., 67, Anderson, died December 17, 2011 at Community Hospital. He was born October 3, 1944 in Columbus, OH, and had lived in Madison County for over 30 years.
David served with the United States Army and was the owner of Road Runner Tire on Broadway in Anderson.
Survivors include his children, Tracey Lee Carr of Columbus, OH, Rhonda Bryson Joe and David Lee Carr, Jr., both of Anderson; brother, William Carr J. Bev of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Steven Ramsey, Jr. Brooke, Hunter Dye, Jordan Hinton Maggie, Rylan Hinton, Gavin Carr & Damaka Carr; great grandchildren, Kaden, Mason & Baby, Nash Ramsey, Emmalee Ann Granger and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel M. Vincent Carr in 2004; second wife, Teresa Cumming Carr in 2009; parents, William T. & Frances M. Aleshrie Carr; brother, Gerald Carr; and nieces, Christy Carr and Erica Carr.
