Mr. David Campbell, “Hot Daddy” was born in Ripley, Tennessee on March 2, 1950 to Frank and Lenora Campbell who preceded him in death.
Dave attended public school in Lauderdale County, Tennessee and professed his hope in Christ at an early age. Dave loved to be around family and friends. He was the life of the party, laughing and joking with everyone in his “Hot Daddy” voice.
David moved to Indianapolis with his family in 1968. He sought out to find love one last time in LaDonna Wooden and they professed their love for each other on January 26, 2015.
David was good with his hands and was employed at Bryant Heating and Cooling. He also did mechanic work and home remodeling.
David “Hot Daddy” departed this life on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the age of 71 years, 2 months, and 19 days. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Campbell, James Campbell; and sister, Lela Roberson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, LaDonna Campbell; five daughters, LaQuinda, Rene’, Linda, Felicia, and Laura Jacks; four sons, Danon, Derrick, Antonio, David, Jr.; five stepsons, Antonio, Antwan, Brandon ,Dominque and Kevin; one stepdaughter; Roneshia Smith host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Mayberry and Teresa Person; brothers, Lorenzo Campbell and Frank Campbell, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
