David Bostick, Jr., 72, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, February 5th at Middlesex Health Care. Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Adam and Lessie (Barr) Bostick. David worked for Forest City Cleaners for forty-nine years and was a good person with a kind heart that would help anyone. He is survived by his son, David Bostick, III of Middletown; his daughter, Charlene Betts and her husband, Darius of Middletown; four brothers, William Bostick of Carrollton, GA, Willie Ray Bostick of Winston Salem, NC, Adam Bostick, Jr. of Pamplico, SC and Simon Bostick of Middletown; four sisters, Ruby Bostick of Lake City, SC. Marie Hannah of Lake City, SC, Lessie Johnson of Kingstree, SC and Albendi Singletary of Lake City, SC; a grandchild; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
