David Richard Bernard, 59, of Bloomington passed away on July 3rd.
David was born December 8, 1952 in Terre Haute and raised in Mooresville, IN. Was the son of Dr. Richard Bernard and Phyliss (Park) Dillon.
David was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran and had been a barber the past 35 years, most recently 15 years at the Bloomington Barber Shop with his close colleague Jeff Lewis. He was an avid reader, lover of music and the arts. He had traveled to 46 of the 50 states and around the world.
David was a friend to all. He is survived by 3 sons, Jason, Charlie and Max, his mother Phyliss, his brother Paul, and sister Jane. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Richard P. Bernard.
