Benedict, David, 68, of Carefree, AZ, died in Phoenix, AZ, August 20, 2015 of natural causes.
Preceded in death by his father, Bryce Benedict. Survived by his mother, Thelma Benedict; sister, Beverly Benedict Thomas of Los Angeles; brother-in-law, Kent Benjamin; nephews, Ian, Brady and Chris Thomas; 7 great nieces and nephews. Born in Wichita, KS, David graduated from Wichita High School East in 1965 where he was class president. He went on to graduate from Kansas University class of 1969. After college he moved to Colorado and then later on to Arizona…spending his last years as a resident of Carefree. He will be missed by family and friends.
