David B. Johnson, 53 of West Terre Haute, passed away July 17, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in Union Hospital.
David was born January 21, 1960 in Terre Haute to Albert Johnson and Margaret Dean Johnson.
David was retired due to his health.
He was an avid NASCAR and Mark Martin fan. He also enjoyed following the Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Reds.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and a older brother, Darrell Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Logan Johnson of Tennessee; his brother, Guy Johnson and his wife, Linda; and his sister, Karen Bruce and her husband, Guy, all of Terre Haute. David is also survived by his grandson and several nieces and nephews.
David had many friends and was loved by all. Those friends closest to him were Gary Richardson, whom David resided with and gave him great care and comfort during his illness; George Richardson, whom the family would like to thank for his help in caring for David; Mike and Jan Morris; and all of David’s co-workers at the Coke Plant in Terre Haute.
