David Allan Craw

Walworth:  Passed away, suddenly, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the age of 72.  David was born on September 10, 1945 to the late George and Arlene “Witherton” Craw.  He was predeceased by his stepfather, Arthur Craig.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty; daughters, Pamela Jean (Gerald) DeCausemaker and Michele Marie Montante (Richard Silcox); granddaughter,  Amanda Jean Fuchs (Matt Lester) ; grandsons, Michael, Jeremy and Anthony DeCausemaker; great granddaughter, Summer Brooke Lester; brother, Michael Craw; sister, Patricia Webster; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

David was very smart and attended both RIT and Syracuse University.  He was employed as an engineer with Xerox for forty five years. He was extremely well organized and very meticulous about keeping good records when it came to his personal life.  He was loyal to both his employer and his family; and subsequently was a good provider.  He was generous but also very thrifty.  David was always there to help out his family and friends.  He was one to come to the rescue of his daughters and friends.  David enjoyed working in his yard doing gardening and he was known to be a cat lover and will be missed by his latest feline friend “Oreo”.   David had an interest in classic cars and had just recently sold his 1970 Barracuda which was the third generation of the classic car that was manufactured by the Chrysler corporation between 1964 and 1974 and was available in both a coupe and convertible. Both he and Betty loved their “Cuda”.  David will be missed by his family but the love, and compassion, he had for life will live on through his children and grandchildren.
