David Alan Douglas, age 41 of Clarksburg WV, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born October 14, 1975 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of Mary Susan (Browning) Walters and the late Alvin Joel Douglas.
David is survived by his wife, Rachel V. (Reiter) Douglas of Clarksburg, WV; his mother, Mary Susan (Browning) Walters of Clarksburg, WV; two daughters Hannah Douglas and Marlie Douglas, both of Clarksburg, WV; a son, Aaron Reiter of Clarksburg, WV; a granddaughter, Ryanna Douglas of Clarksburg, WV; a sister, Becky Nicholas of Clarksburg, WV; two aunts, Dede Kelley of Clarksburg, WV and Lisa Frymyer of Alabama; three uncles, Rick Kelley of Clarksburg, WV, Phil Walters of Florida and Jimmy Walters of Fairmont, WV; several nieces and nephews. David loved Tyke Dean, Steve Dean and Deno Dean as a father and brothers, they are all of Clarksburg, WV
In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his aunt, Pattie Walters; an uncle Charles Edward Walters, II; grandparents, Charles Walters, Sr. and Sara Walters.
David worked for Mountaineer Grill for seven years. He was a loving husband and father. David was a very hard worker and would brighten everyone’s day.
