Oakville – Mr. David A. Reeser, age 76, of Oakville, died Saturday August 16, 2014 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband for 56 years of Marlene (Karvelis) Reeser.
Mr. Reeser was born in Marsaielles, Illinois on April 9, 1938 a son of the late Arthur R. and Arline (Youngling) Reeser. Before his retirement, he worked for many years as a header operator.
Mr. Reeser was a United States Navy veteran having proudly served in Hawaii and New London.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Reeser is survived by three sons: David A. Reeser, Jr., James Reeser and Robert Reeser all of Oakville, two brothers: Lawrence Reeser and his wife Lorraine of Amston, Ct. and Richard Reeser of Cheshire, sisters in law: Regina Rock of Oakville and Dolores Wood and her husband William of Oakville, three granddaughters, three grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Reeser’s family would like to thank the staff and nurses at VITAS Hospice and the staff, nurses and aides at the Glendale Center and Beacon Brook Health Care Center for the wonderful care that they provided.
