David A. Kreutzer, age 84, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at his home surrounded by family & friends.
David was born in 1937 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to John Michael and Anna (Swartout) Kreutzer. He married Sharon Finup on July 4, 1957 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
David graduated from Lincoln High School. He worked at the family business Kreutzer Brother’s and while in high school worked at Preway followed by Felkers House of Heating.
David had many hobbies including woodworking, cooking, traveling the country with his wife, shopping for deals and coin & stamp collecting. David had a kind heart, loved all animals (except for squirrels) and found great joy in their cats. He enjoyed volunteering much of his time at his church, St. Luke’s, serving on property care and veterans of the cross and attending many church Bible Studies. David loved his family and found great delight in the Wednesday night family supper tradition for nearly three decades. He made a point to be very active in the lives of his son, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
David is survived by his grandchildren, Joshua (Shanna) Kreutzer and Jessica (Johnathon) Kroening; great-grandchildren: Kaden, Kayla and Kendra Kreutzer and Madelyn and Colton Kroening; daughter-in-law, Julie Kreutzer (fiancé Tim Haferman); sister-in-law, Marilyn (Paul James) Hepp; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon J. (Finup) Kreutzer and devoted son, David M. Kreutzer; parents John M. and Anna Kreutzer; father and mother-in-law Lenoard and Elizabeth Finup; and brother and sisters; John A. Kreutzer, Ruth (Bernard) Janskivich, Frances (Ray) Olsen, and Richard (Rita) Kreutzer.
The family would like to thank Badger State Health and Heartland Hospice staff for the exceptional and heartfelt care they provided.
