He was born June 16, 1960 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life. David was a 1978 graduate of Madison Heights High School. He was a manager at Payless/Kroger Store with more than 20 years of service. David enjoyed running and weight lifting for most of his life. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Hathcoat Hines of Anderson; brother, Larry & wife Peggy Hines of Anderson; aunt, Janet & husband Frank Tuckerman of Pendleton; nephews, Chris & wife Dawn Hines of Anderson and Nicholas Hines of Anderson; cousins, Brian & Lisa Bauman, Corey & Chase Scott, Mike & Angie Tuckerman and Kayla & Michael Tuckerman and great niece, Aubrey Lynn Hines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack A. Hines; grandparents, Bennett & Alma Hathcoat and Thamer & Nina Hoel.
