Winsted: David A. Geddes, 85, of Winsted, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Rose Haven Health Care in Litchfield following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Irene (Rebillard) Geddes who died in 2002. Born in Winsted, June 24, 1924, son of the late William R. and Bertha (MacLelland) Geddes, he had lived here all of his life. Mr. Geddes had worked several jobs during his working career, but since 1961, he had been one of the last remaining dairy farmers in Litchfield County.
