Born in Boerne, TX on September 11, 1948, he was the son of Leroy Merritt Stevens and Mildred Newman Stevens. Preceded in death by his father, 3 uncles and one aunt, Dave is survived by his mother, Mildred Stevens; son, Davey Stevens (Rebecca); grandchildren, Alec Michael Stevens, Aaron Kane Stevens, Savana C. Hale, Colton F. Warren, and Clayton F. Warren; sisters, Millie Horton (Lonnie), Sharon Edge (Richard), and Rose Routh (James); numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. “Such a kind and generous soul, he will be greatly missed by all.
