Daryl Maxie Webb III was born to Daryl Maxie Webb, Jr. and Dia Newman on April 16, 2002 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Daryl attended Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) and Lighthouse East. Daryl graduated from Victory College Prep and was studying sports medicine at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
As a young child, Daryl was determined to become successful so that his mother and sister would never have to work again. Daryl became a highly celebrated basketball player throughout his middle school and high school years, playing point guard, shooting guard, and guard. He received several awards and accolades due to his talented basketball skills, including travelling with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). Daryl had a genuine love for the sport of basketball and was highly regarded for his talent and sportsmanship – he was also a true team player.

Daryl was affectionately called, “D,” “Lil Daryl,” “Lil Silk,” and “D-Time.” Daryl loved to laugh, crack jokes, and be the life of the party. Daryl also loved to shop and had to be the best dressed person in the room, which led to the nickname of, “Mr. Put-it-On.” Daryl had a special and loving relationship with his family and close friends and loved to be in their presence. He was also known as a true, and proud “mama’s boy.” Daryl was a heartfelt gentleman with a bright, infectious smile that could light up any room. Daryl made a positive impact on anyone that he encountered – his enthusiastic personality, drive, and determination were always felt by those around him.
Daryl’s fun, loving personality and beautiful smile will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He was truly a blessing.
Daryl departed his life on February 22, 2022 at the age of 19 years young. He was preceded in death by his father; Daryl Webb, Jr.; grandfathers, Daryl Newman, Sr. and Darryl Williams, Sr.; great-grandmother, Betty Howard Sr.; aunt, Greta Rivera; uncle, Andrew Smith; cousins, Kevin Smith and Tevin Newman, and friends, Daulton Bandy and Cassie Gibson.
