Daryl W. “Big Dawg” Rice, 56, of Clarks Hill, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
He was born April 24, 1962 in Lafayette to the late Robert A. and Donna K. (Dye) Rice.
Daryl worked for Fox Hauling as a driver for many years.
Daryl enjoyed playing with his grandkids, watching sports especially the Cubs, listening to music, loving on dogs and playing cards.
He is survived by his sons, Casey Rice (companion Marissa Stroud) of Lafayette, Jeremy Russell (companion Morgan Green) of Clarks Hill, his wife, Deborah Rice of Etta, MS. Six brothers, Tony A. Rice (Judy) of Deatsville,AL, Michael J. Rice (Kimberly) of Dayton, Timothy Rice (Sharon) of Logansport, Monte Rice (Saundra) of West Lafayette, Jerry Rice (Karen) of Lafayette and Pat Burns (Melinda) of Lafayette.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Karson, Kyzer and Gracelyn.
