Darrell Stark, age 63, of Algona, died on Friday, August 30, 2013 at his home. Services will be at a later date. Darrell Walter Stark, the son of Walter and Norma (Miller) Stark, was born on September 30, 1949 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He graduated from Cherry Valley High School in Cherry Valley, Arkansas in 1967. Darrell served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1967-1971. On November 28, 1974 he was united in marriage with Betty Wehrspan in Las Vegas, NV. Darrell enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Left to cherish Darrell’s memory is his wife of 38 years, Betty; a daughter, Amanda Parker of Franklin, TN and a son, Joshua Stark of Franklin, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Stark; and a sister, Sandra Stark.
