Darlene Mae Beesley Cobaugh passed away peacefully on June 11, 2016.

She was born at home on May 17, 1926, the youngest child of John William Beesley and Annie Eliza Swann.

She married John Cobaugh Jr on December 17, 1945 in Sunset, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized on February 10, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She attended school in Davis County and graduated from Davis High School in 1943.

She had been employed by Smith and DelMonte canning factory, HiIl Air Force Base, Internal Revenue, and Davis County School District as a cook.

She held many leadership positions in the LDS church and was a proud
supporter of her husband in the scouting program for many years.

Aside from loving spending time with her family, she also enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, gardening, traveling, playing the organ, and baking. Many were recipients of her doughnuts and sweet rolls.

She is survived by her children: Catheryn and David White, Carolyn and Ray Hower, Sherry Claywell, John Randy Cobaugh, and Jacqueline and Russell VanMeeteren. She has 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, with one on the way, and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Earl, James, Vern and Donald Beesley and one sister Annie Elaine Beesley Call.
