Darlene F. Tafur, 69, of Pendleton, passed away on February 27, 2015 at Rawlins House in Pendleton.
She was born on July 16, 1945 in Indiana and resided most of her life in Indianapolis. Darlene graduated from Arlington High School, and retired as an Administrative Assistant for the State of Indiana after 30 years of service. She enjoyed reading her bible, and spending time with her family, especially her grand dogs.
Darlene is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle (Billy) Jakes of Pendleton, aka; daughter, Susan (Carl) Rath of Indianapolis, grand dogs, JD, Maggie, Sidney, Charley, Mollie, and Kody.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mae Yaryan, and her father, Charles Yaryan.
