Those left to honor Darlene’s memory are her husband, Mike of Newton; 2 daughters, Danelle and Kristin Carley, both of Newton; her parents, Elvin and Erma Parish of Yankton, South Dakota; 2 brothers, Lyle (and Donett) Parish of Yankton, South Dakota and Larry Parish of Yankton, South Dakota; and her sister, Daryls (and Pat)Moulton of Phoenix, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Deann “Pete” Rauscher.
Darlene graduated from Yankton High School in Yankton, South Dakota in 1968.
She worked for 8 years for the Newton Community School District as a Para Pro in the Berg Elementary School Library.
