Dario Mattioli, 71, of West Haven passed away at home Sunday November 20, 2011 with his family by his side. He was the husband of Maria Belardinelli Mattioli. Father of Elisa Mattioli and her husband Chip Hamma and David Mattioli. Brother of Augusto Mattioli and Rosetta Simoncini. Grandfather of Nicholas Hamma. Also survived by one niece and three nephews. He was born in Fano, Italy, December 2, 1939, son of the late Ferruccio and Elisa Righi Mattioli and immigrated to New Britain in 1955. Dario worked at Eastern Woodworking for many years before establishing D M Woodworking until his retirement. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who was always available to help anyone in need.
