NEW HARTFORD – MCMICHAEL – Dannie Lee McMichael, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. He was the loving husband of Marcia (Modde) McMichael for 45 years. Born June 25, 1948 in Elgin, IL; the son of Jimmie Lee McMichael and Charlene (Ruth) McMichael. Dannie grew up in Hampshire, IL. He married his high school sweetheart and they travelled extensively for his career as a Design Engineer. He was last employed for 16 years at Conair-Waring Division in Torrington. Dannie was a very hard worker, had a great sense of humor and will be missed. In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife and children, Bryon, Stacy, Leah, April and Dannie J.; grandchildren, Emilee, Robert, Addalyn, Caitlyn and Deanna; great grandchildren, Addison and Alexander; and two brothers, Billie and Leslie McMichael. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carrie.
