NEW HARTFORD –ROMANIELLO – Daniel Romaniello, 62, of Hillside Ave, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2007. He was the loving husband of Carol (Osterhout) Romaniello for 42 years. Born July 8, 1944 in Torrington, CT; the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Caine) Romaniello. He was employed by the Torrington Co. for many years and Timex as a Machine Operator as well as a permittee for Dan’s Café in New Hartford. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was an avid Cowboy’s and Yankee’s fan. In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by a son, Daniel Romaniello Jr. of Bristol; a daughter, Lisa Mathiason and her husband Len of TX; four brothers, Joseph Romaniello of Torrington, Frank Romaniello Jr. of Torrington, William Romaniello of Torrington and Kenneth Romaniello of Winsted; two grandchildren, Mindy Mathiason of New Hampshire and Christopher Mathiason of TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Marvin Romaniello and Howard Romaniello.
