Richards, Daniel McNutt (Pots), age 88, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 31, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Thomas Richards and daughter, Russell Champion (Jimmy). He is survived by his son, Roger Duff Richards (Carol); grandchildren, Rachael and Elizabeth Richards, Jamie Champion (Mallory), and Jessie Champion; great grandchildren, Emily, Daniel, and Matt. He was a World War II Veteran serving in Europe. He was also in the National Guard with 109 Evacuation Hospital serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of the Local Bricklayers Union #1 for over 50 years. Pots had a great passion for fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
